Péter Máté would celebrate his 65th birthday on the 4th of February 2012. The Hungarian music industry would like to commemorate worthily the tragically early died artist. This monumental and exclusive memorial concert is a tribute to the memory of Péter Máté. In the evening the most known and popular hits can be heard.This evening will be surely unforgettable for the audience.

Yamato - Gamushara

Yamato, the drummers of Japan. The place where Yamato performs is the space where people gather in the resounding beat of drums. The moments are born when the sound created by Yamato resonates with the pulse of everybody present. Ripples of pulses and gently overlap. The sound of drums, which were made of animal skin and ancient trees, some of are more than 400 years old, as the pulse or the Heartbeat (Shin-on).
The central to Yamato's production is, of course, the Wadaiko drumming. Yamato was founded in 1993 by Masa Ogawa. In Japanese, the word “”wadaiko” translates as “Japanese drum” and “Yamato' was the former name of the city of Nara, the group's bithplace. Since its creation, the group has made over one thousand live performances to over one million people in more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
In the beginning of 2012 they will introduce their new program “Gamushara” to the audience in Hungary. “Gamushara” means to be completely absorbed by the pursuit of one goal, without thinking about what's going to happen next. Once you'e found your dream, your vision of future try not to think about it too much. Just go off in the direction of that purpose, completely in the moment. It is all about ecstatic enthusiasm.
Pilobolus presents: SHADOWLAND

SHADOWLAND, the groundbreaking new performance by internationally acclaimed dance troupe Pilobolus, is best described as part shadow act, part dance, part circus and part concert.
Pilobolus, As the first theatrical event of its kind to tour the globe, Shadowland incorporates multiple moving screens of different sizes and shapes to create an evening-length performance that merges projected images and front-of-screen choreography. The story is a surreal experience of a young girl’s sensational world as she comes of age. Created in collaboration with lead writer for the popular animated series SpongeBob SquarePants Steven Banks, Shadowland is a universal and intimately portrayed experience that is both intensely dramatic and comedic.
It is set to a rhythmic original score by the popular American musician, producer, and film composer David Poe, whose poetic work for Shadowland ranges from ballads to hard-driving rock numbers that lift the audience out of its seats. His much-loved songs illuminate the themes and visuals of this fascinating story and world.

His virtuoso technique, unique talent and mass appeal have brought fresh perspectives to both the classical and contemporary repertoire. He is the best selling classical violinist of all time.
His passion for jazz resulted in the album "Blue Note Sessions", made under the eye of Grammy award winning producer Jay Newland, featuring a band of jazz giants such as Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette, amongst others.
